Prairie Gardens Greenhouses and
Garden Center will be OPEN starting Monday, March 30th.

We felt it was our duty to use this last week to study federal and state public health guidelines and and talk with our associates to help guide us during this unique time.

After confirming our essential status with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and after tackling our list of improvements we wished to make to ensure a safe shopping experience for everyone, we made the decision to reopen this Monday, March 30th.

Whether it’s our farmers at our local markets, our landscapers, or our gardeners who enjoy home-grown produce from their own sustainable gardens – many depend on local garden centers to supply important agricultural and garden essentials with the sale of fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, seeds, soils, fertilizers, and more.

Our commitment to the safety of our associates and customers remains strong. We will continue to provide safe distancing, safe handling, enhanced cleaning procedures, monitor traffic, and more to create the safest shopping experience possible.

Because we feel it is important for you to know what we are doing to change, as well as how you can join us in these efforts…you can CLICK HERE to learn more about our increased safety measures.

The PG greenhouses will be ready for you when you are ready to get gardening. In the meantime, we will continue to nurture, care & water our plants. Just as we have asked our associates, if you feel uncomfortable for any reason or feel sick, we ask you to please stay home.

Plus, to make things easier, cart pickup and curbside pickup will also be available.

We cannot thank you for all your support, and the support of other local businesses during this time. We appreciate you all.

We will continue to evaluate & change where is needed, and keep you updated every step of the way.
